Havas Village Melbourne Announce Eight New Hires

Havas Village Melbourne is expanding with the announcement of eight new hires across Havas Melbourne and Red Agency Melbourne. The appointments add further capabilities and bandwidth to the growing operation in creative, media, PR, social and production.

The new starters at Havas Melbourne follow the appointment of Havas Melbourne’s new executive creative director, Damian Royce, earlier this year, and will support a number of client wins and continued growth of current clients across the Village.

Art Director Zoe Yeoman and copywriter Liam Travers join as a duo bringing experience working across a range of clients including Optus, Coles, Target, Renault and Jetstar. Yeoman, who is a former Cannes Young Lions finalist, and Travers, who ranked Top 10 at AWARD School, will work closely with Royce.

Lauren Bell joins as a senior integrated producer, while Torin Didenko rejoins the company as a senior account manager after an eight-month hiatus working client side. Both will enhance Havas’ executional expertise, with Bell bringing past experience spanning complex digital projects, advertising and events, and Didenko bringing new experience from the start up marketing scene.

Maria Elustondo joins Havas Melbourne’s growing media team as search and analytics manager to support Havas’ focus on performance-based media solutions.

Red Agency has also bolstered its Melbourne team with three new hires as the agency continues to grow. Alice Dodge joins as senior account director along with Sonia Heng as account manager and Kendall Cramm as content and community manager in the #RedSocial team.

Dodge brings more than a decade of experience, having started in broadcast media in the newsroom of Channel Seven before moving into PR in London. She has most recently spent time in Sydney working across travel, luxury, financial services and lifestyle PR. Heng is another staff member to return to the Havas Village after a six-month stint at Ogilvy, whilst Canadian-born Cramm will bolster the team’s social capabilities.

Havas Melbourne group managing director Matt Houltham said: “Clients are seeking more robust solutions that makes sense for their audiences. Our model enables us to bring the right skills to the table to solve any communications problem, and to do it in one agency. We’re excited that this model is not only attracting great clients, but also great talent who want to be a part of our collaborative village.”
