Hard Chat Host Tom Gleeson Roasts 2Day FM’s Em Rusciano About Dour Radio Ratings

Comedian Tom Gleeson has delivered another hilarious roasting for his ‘Hard Chat’ segment on ABC’s The Weekly, this time picking on radio host Em Rusciano.

Rusciano, who co-hosts 2Day FM’s breakfast show alongside Grant Denyer and Ed Kavalee, has been under a fair bit of scrutiny ever since she landed the gig last year with Harley Breen, with the program’s ratings a constant talking point.

Despite the show growing its market share in the last two ratings surveys, it only manages 4.4 per cent market share compare to rivals KIIS 1065 (12.3 per cent), WSFM (8.1 per cent) and Nova 969 (6.9 per cent).

Furthermore, the CEO of 2Day FM parent company SCA, Grant Blackley, reiterated the network’s commitment to improving the performance of the station in the breakfast slot in February.

So, as expected, Gleeson took full advantage of 2Day FM’s recent poor ratings performance in the brekkie time slot to roast Rusciano, who was a good sport about it and played along.
