The new three-year partnership will see The Hallway focus on delivering PR and social strategy, social content, strategic partnerships, and influencer engagement to showcase South Africa as a ‘must visit’ tourist destination.
Yana Shvarts, South African Tourism’s acting country manager for Australia and marketing and communications manager for Australasia, said the The Hallway’s integrated approach to communications was a big factor in choosing the Sydney-based independent agency, which was recently named NSW Agency of the Year at the B&T Awards 2016.
“For us, The Hallway stood out with its strategic and creative approach to PR and social,” Shvarts said.
“This aligns with our need for a forward-thinking team to deliver authentic and engaging campaigns that will drive awareness and visitation, and we are really looking forward to seeing some great results from this new partnership.”
The Hallway CEO Jules Hall said he is delighted to be leveraging the agency’s ‘Create & Connect’ operating model to architect more impactful stories across earned channels for South African Tourism.
“Create & Connect delivers effective ideas to the right people at exactly the right time, in the most potent channels,” Hall said.
“This is critical for brands like South African Tourism, who want to have engaging and motivating conversations with their audience.
