Former director of VTWO Dan Wilkins has launched haarper. in Melbourne.
On the launch, Wilkins said: “After working with the VTWO team for four years, I felt there was a space for an agency to be created that is a reflection of the people and brands we work with.
“We love to get our hands dirty, and jump in with our partners to really understand, then help solve, the problems they have.”
In 2018 Wilkins joined the ‘PukaUp Grand Tour’ and rode from Sydney to Melbourne with project partner ‘PukaUp’ to raise awareness and create conversations around mental health.
He said: “It was a life changing experience for me. How could we push a message we didn’t understand? There was not a chance I was missing that opportunity to learn more”
The team comprises of Ryan Impey who heads up the design division, Nick Katsonis, alumni of the Drapac Cycling Team’s holistic program, who focuses on strategy and engagement, Kristen Gallagher who brings over 13 years experience in client service to head up group accounts, and Wilkins, who oversees the day to day operations and leads the client strategy division.
Wilkins added: “The team here are thinkers, we’re an eclectic bunch, and all about looking at how to better our approach and better our work. Everything we’ve done for our clients, at its core, we’ve done for ourselves too.”
“Change is an exciting thing, and this rebrand is the start of an incredible new phase. We look forward to continuing our partnerships and are enthused to bring on new project partners to our team.”
With some exciting new partners to announce in the coming weeks, a snapshot of brand partners includes Athletics Victoria, Racing.com, Swimming Australia, Citywide & RACV.
