Energy BBDO latest work for Guns Down America’s is a video series featuring survivors of gun violence reviewing the weapons that nearly took their lives.
The PSA videos open with a more ‘traditional’ style of online reviews, before the tone changes and the survivors, begin to talk about their experiences being shot by the very guns on screen.
It’s a harrowing look into the serious dangers presented by these firearms, one that will hopefully change some of the attitudes towards gun ownership in the US.
“As we work to raise the standard of gun ownership across the country by advocating for laws that make guns harder to get, we must engage social media platforms and content creators to do their part in keeping our communities safe from gun violence,” says Igor Volsky, executive director of Guns Down America.
