Guinness World Records Is On The Hunt For An Aussie Or NZ Brand Agency

Guinness World Records, the global authority on record breaking, is calling for proposals from Australia based agencies to manage its PR and marketing activity in the region, with an emphasis on brand awareness.

The request for proposal (RFP) follows the departure of longstanding Australia-based brand representative Chris Sheedy, who left the business in August to pursue personal projects.

As well as celebrating the record-breaking feats of individuals and publishing best-selling books, Guinness World Records works with global brands that use record breaking to enhance their marketing, PR or employee engagement campaigns. Over the past year, Guinness World Records has worked with Momentum Worldwide, Ogilvy PR, Pacific Magazines, Dymocks, Woolworths, Habitat, IKEA, AIME, Guy Leech Fitness, Priceline, Summernauts, City of Canberra, Telstra, Ericsson and Medibank.

TV and radio appearances in 2014 and 2015 so far for the brand have included the Footy Show (nine Network), The Bachelor Australia, Nine Network Gold Telethon, Kids WB, ABC Queensland and TODAY Show. Australia is also the fourth largest market for Guinness World Records Publishing after the UK, US and Germany.

Nadine Causey, Guinness World Records senior vice-president, EMEA and APAC, said: “The Guinness World Records brand in Australia and New Zealand has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and Australia is currently the fourth highest country globally for record applications.

“Now, we’re looking for an agency that will further raise our profile in Australia and New Zealand and really help us take our brand to the next level.”
