Growth services partner, GrowthOps, today announced the appointment of Anthony Damianakis as GrowthOps commercial content director in Brisbane.
An industry leading commercial director, executive producer and head of video, Damianakis has a track record of delivering award-winning entertainment assets across television and multi-platform digital media.
Damianakis joins GrowthOps from content agency and brand publisher, Medium Rare, where as head of video, he developed video content, brand channels and new business across all major clients.
This followed his role as director of commercial partnerships for Australia’s largest post-production company, Post Op and their production arm Klinik TV.
Ashton Ward, GrowthOps partner and head of content for Brisbane welcomed the appointment, recognising the valuable combination of creative and commercial experience Damianakis brings.
Ward said: “We are delighted to welcome Ant to the team as he takes on the newly created role of commercial content director.
“He is a highly experienced producer, with a long history of creating and commercialising successful film content for brands and television”.
Ward added: “Ant’s blend of creative and commercial nous make him the ideal addition to the GrowthOps team as we explore more opportunities in longer-form film content”.
On joining GrowthOps, Damianakis said: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Ashton and his inspiring and experienced team of entrepreneurs to create a high-quality creative approach to medium to long-form storytelling for brands”.
Damianakis continued: “GrowthOps’ diverse expertise in marketing, technology and people presents an unprecedented opportunity to produce audience-led video content that can be distributed across multiple platforms.
“The Brisbane creative scene is vibrant, optimistic and constantly evolving, with great work being produced by brilliant talent.
“There’s never been a better time to build a world-class content capability for this emerging market and I’m excited to have the opportunity to drive this with the GrowthOps team”.
Brisbane-based creative agency, Khemistry, rebranded as GrowthOps last month, following its decision to join the growth services partner when it listed on the ASX in March 2018.
