GroupM Offers $100 Incentives & Paid Leave To Get Its 800 Staff Vaxxed

WPP’s GroupM wants all its staff fully vaccinated by the end of the year and is offering incentives to make it happen.

The offer is available to the 800 staff who work for the GroupM group of agencies including Mindshare, MediaCom, Wavemaker, Essence and Finecast.

Incentives include a $100 bonus to staff who demonstrate valid proof of both vaccinations before December 31stThis includes staff who have already been vaccinated.

This is on top of offering additional paid leave to go and get the vaccine and in case they suffer any side effects make it as easy and convenient as possible for our people and their families to get vaccinated.

The agency insists it is not mandating vaccinations rather encouraging people to make an informed decision for their own circumstances.

A GroupM spokesperson commented: “Vaccinations are an important part of Australia’s defense against COVID-19. With many of the states and our people under lockdown as Australia battles the Delta variant, it’s really important that GroupM is doing our bit to encourage people to go and get the vaccine to protect our communities.

“Vaccination is a personal choice but we will now be offering every GroupM Australia employee a $100 incentive to roll up their sleeve and get vaccinated. We want our staff to be protected, look after their own health and the community, so if they need to take additional leave to get vaccinated, or because they suffer any side effects, we’re encouraging them to do it and making it as easy as possible for them.”
