Media Thursdays, the industry’s excuse to mingle, make friends and get on the sauce, is back on this Thursday August 18, with the sole aim of bringing everyone in the media industry together in the hottest spots in Sydney.
Keeping media folks entertained every month since November 2015, people from over 60+ different media companies have been coming through the doors, with 500 RSVP’s every month.
Media Thursdays is the answer to the old “We’ll have to catch up soon” phrase so often touted around the industry, being a consistent monthly event to see people who you may have worked with in the past both as colleagues and clients and have not had the time to catch up with.
For the last couple of months the event has been calling one of Sydney’s newest refurbished venues, The Burdekin Rooms, home and conjuring some amazing evenings every month. This Thursday is also the last round before the finals on September 15, where the winner will be awarded a return flight trip to Ibiza and get a chance to play a set at one of the island’s hottest clubs.
For the people coming to socialise, Media Thursdays has a new food sponsor on board to serve up something delightful and drink specials to boot. And if DJ’s are not your thing there will be a more relaxed level two open as well.
The event kicks off at 6.30pm, and to be on the list you can rsvp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
