Get To Know The ‘Media’ Winner From Women In Media!

We’re about half way through our brilliant list of winners from Women in Media, and today is no exception as we bring you the story of CHE Proximity director of media, and winner of the Media category, Elizabeth Geor.

Elizabeth Geor is a truly outstanding candidate. She’s been the driving force behind CHE Proximity’s new data driven in-house media offering, is responsible for creating a true end-to-end customer experience by bringing media into CHE Proximity, and has created an entirely new department that encompasses both owned and bought channels.

Within nine months of the decision to bring media in-house and create a single and unified manager of the entire customer lifecycle, Liz has grown the team from three people to seventeen, attracting talent from leading media agencies and publisher roles.

The passionate dedication to the work and outcomes for Liz’s clients speaks for itself. For example, on one client, Liz has decreased their search budget by 50 per cent while achieving a 210 per cent improvement in their cost per acquisition numbers. Liz now has a 100 per cent pitch success rate.

Liz is creating a completely new offering, not ever undertaken in the market before. In order to achieve her vision, she has established a transparent media remuneration structure for clients to ensure that all media decisions were unbiased and based purely on ROI, not where the largest commission or rebate would be earned.
