George Clooney Stars In Gorgeously Shot Bread Ad That’ll Have You Straight Back On The Carbs

COVID may have put the kybosh on Hollywood blockbusters but it appears cinema’s loss is advertising’s gain.

Following on from his riotous ad for the charity organisation Omaze that B&T reported on yesterday (check it out here), Academy Award winning actor George Clooney returns in a kooky spot for iconic British bread brand Warburtons.

The brand is famous for its out-there spots – featuring big celebrities – that always star Warburton’s very own CEO, Jonathan Warburton.

Clooney is the latest big name to star in a Waburtons’ ad that have previously included such luminaries as Sylvester Stallone, The Muppets, Robert De Niro and comic Peter Kay.

The new work is from London creative agency Engine and is a gloriously shot homage to the joys of hot toast and butter.

The 59-year-old Clooney has a brief cameo at the end and, in all honesty, is upstaged by the toasty bread footage.

Check it out below and revel in the simple pleasure that is white sliced bread. And George Clooney.
