Garden experts Yates and Webling launch My Garden mobile app

Webling has just launched My Garden Mobile app for Yates, perhaps the most world’s most comprehensive interactive guide to gardening right in your pocket. The multiplatform app provides gardening pros and enthusiasts with everything they need to design, grow and manage their perfect gard, featuring an Augmented Reality Garden Visualiser with a wide selection of virtual plants.

The app steps the user through each stage of the garden life cycle; finding inspiration, designing, planning, planting, growing, managing and solving pesky problems that stop the garden from thriving.

The user can design their ideal garden by finding out which seeds and plants best suit the climate and conditions of their specific area. Growing the garden and tracking the progress of plants is easy. The user simply adds what they’ve planted to the app in a ‘plot’ and then receives helpful reminders to help their garden flourish. They can also use the problem solver to diagnose and treat any pests, weeds and diseases with a relevant recommendations from Yates’s comprehensive range of products.

The app is available to use across iPhone, iPad and Android; it is also fully integrated with Social Media, Yates website and their popular Garden Club community.

As we keep evolving, providing useful content to our community extended to the digital world. Today marks the next stage of innovation for us as we distil all our expertise and share in My Garden App”

Webling MD Deniz Nalbantoglu said ”Yates gardening community is a passionate bunch, they know what they are talking about and accustomed to the best of advice and support from Yates. So, the only meaningful play was to develop the most comprehensive and truly useful utility app that will genuinely help them in their quest for the perfect garden. It’s early days but the initial feedback from the community tells us that we are on the right track”

Webling Interactive is a Sydney-based full-service digital agency, specialising in extraordinary brand experiences across multiple digital channels, including the web, mobile, social media and experiential.”
