Former Triple J Hosts Ben & Liam Surprise Adelaide With Early Nova 919 Show

While former Triple J hosts Ben & Liam were set to debut their new Adelaide Nova show from 6 January 2020, the duo decided to get a jump start on the new year with a secret show on Saturday.

In October last year, it was revealed Ben & Liam would finish up their triple j duties Friday 1 November as they jumped across to Nova.

While they were due to officially start today, the hosts surprised Adelaide listeners by heading into the studio two days early as a “practice run”.

Secret Show!

Psssst! Ben and Liam are on your radio RIGHT NOW until 9am for a secret pop up show! Don't tell anyone! ??(Tell everyone)

On moving to Nova, the boys said: “It’s all been pretty surreal so far. Everyone’s been so enthusiastic at Nova. They’ve even made pens with our names printed on em.

On the secret show, they said: “We did a sneaky show just as a surprise for Nova listeners, realistically it was just for us, we needed a practice run. After two months off you’ve gotta get back to basics. Make sure you remember to turn your mic on, don’t say f@$!, you know, that type of thing.”
