The First Digital Radio Ratings For 2017 Are Out!

The first radio ratings survey for the year has already been dished out, but how are the digital-only stations faring?

GfK, the official ratings provider, this morning released the first survey of 2017 for the DAB+ stations. Here’s a breakdown of the top five from each of the five metro markets based on cumulative audience figures:

Sydney

  1. Edge Digital (76,000 listeners)
  2. ABC Jazz (72,000 listeners)
  3. Triple J Unearthed (65,000 listeners)
  4. Coles Radio (62,000 listeners)
  5. Koffee (55,000 listeners)

Melbourne

  1. Double J (66,000 listeners)
  2. ABC Jazz (54,000 listeners)
  3. Aussie Digital (53,000 listeners)
  4. The 80s iHeart Radio (51,000 listeners)
  5. Coles Radio (47,000 listeners)

Brisbane

  1. Coles Radio (53,000 listeners)
  2. Double J (33,000 listeners)
  3. The 90s iHeartRadio (25,000 listeners)
  4. Triple J Unearthed (22,000 listeners)
  5. ABC Grandstand (21,000 listeners)

Adelaide

  1. The 90s iHeartRadio (23,000 listeners)
  2. Double J (21,000 listeners)
  3. Buddha Radio (20,000 listeners)
  4. Coles Radio (17,000 listeners)
