Fintech company Fast has named Radinck van Vollenhoven as its first Australian executive on the ground.

Vollenhoven will join as Fast’s vice president of sales for the ANZ region, starting this week.

Before joining Fast Vollenhoven was managing director in ANZ for mobile wallet company Stocard.

He also worked in the tech and media space at companies like Apple, Criteo and Spotify, helping grow their businesses in the ANZ region.

Vollenhoven was drawn to Fast for the opportunity to work with Aussie founder, Domm Holland, on solving one of the biggest pain points on the internet – long and confusing checkout experiences.

As a customer, the basic premise of being able to check out quickly and easily with one click from anywhere resonates with Vollenhoven.

Though the benefits for merchants are also just as compelling.

Vollenhoven is hoping to create a more seamless checkout experience that helps reduce cart abandonment, one of the biggest challenges in e-commerce.

Vollenhoven’s main goal for Fast is for it to be on every e-commerce site in the region.

He hopes that millions of customers can use Fast whenever and wherever they want to make purchases faster, safer and easier.
