No one loves to squeeze a celeb or two into its ads quite like Pepsi. Think Kylie Jenner (possibly worst ad ever made) and Steve Carell (surprisingly very good).
The soft drink purveyor has now unveiled its new Christmas ad for the year featuring none other than redeemed hot mess, Lindsay Lohan.
The spot sees the 37-year-old Mean Girls actor sit down for festive can of Pepsi and a plate of cookies. Nothing too weird about that, until she starts pouring milk into the mix too!
Lohan describes the Pepsi as “nice” and the addition of the milk as “naughty”. Describing the mix as “Pepsi and milk… Pilk.”

Naturally, social media was no fan of Lohan’s work describing it as a “culinary crime”. Another added: “I’m jot sure whether to jail Lindsay or Pepsi for this.” Another called the mix “fucking gross!”
Others said the drink (also known as a “dirty soda”) had actually been around for years and was made famous by 70s sitcom Laverne & Shirley.
To celebrate all things pilk and cookies this festive season, Pepsi is inviting fans off the drink to take part in the #PilkandCookies Holiday Challenge by sharing their own pilk and cookies treats. Those who enter t have a shot at winning cash for Christmas presents gift or gifts for themselves.
Commenting on the work, Lohan said in a statement: “Partnering with Pepsi to announce pilk and cookies has been an incredible experience.
“As someone who loves the holiday season and embracing new traditions, I was thrilled to have a little bit of fun with Pepsi and their take on the dirty soda. For people learning about Pilk for the first time, I won’t lie to you when I say I was a bit skeptical when I first heard of this pairing, but after my first sip I was amazed at how delicious it was, so I’m very excited for the rest of the world to try it.”
