“F*ck My Life”: Channel Nine Reporter Goes Viral For Rather Relatable On-Screen Blunder

Channel Nine reporter Lana Murphy has captured the sentiment of all Australians (and especially Victorians) in her hilarious on-screen blunder, which in fact, wasn’t her fault at all.

While filming a piece-to-camera on Melbourne’s stage 4 lockdowns, Murphy fumbled her lines and immediately said: “Fuck my life”. It’s understandable, really. Piece-to-cameras are hard!

Assumably, Murphy did another take of her lines, and also assumably, without using profanities.

However, what made it to air on Nine’s 4pm bulletin was not the PG13 take, but rather the original, sweary blooper.

At the end of the day, it seems it’s not Murphy’s fault, really, but rather an editing blunder back in Nine’s editing studio.

Take a watch for yourself. It’s truly something to behold.

The good news is Murphy gets to keep her job and will be back on air this afternoon. Still, B&T doubts she’ll be forgetting this experience any time soon.
