Farmers Union Iced Coffee Renames For Father’s Day

South Australia’s iconic iced coffee brand, Farmers Union Iced Coffee, will be rebranding for a limited time from Farmers Union, to ‘Fathers Union’ Iced Coffee, to celebrate 2017 Fathers Day.

The rebranded Fathers Union Iced Coffee will launch exclusively in South Australia alongside a series of limited edition cartons to celebrate South Aussie Dads across the state that founded the much-loved beverage.

In the lead up to Fathers Day, Fathers Union Iced Coffee will launch four unique carton designs: No.1 Dad, Total Legend, Big Fella and The Boss, for fans to collect and share. Available throughout convenience, supermarkets and independents exclusively in South Australia from today (Monday 14 August 2017).

While the packs may be changing, Farmers Union Iced Coffee will continue to be made in Salisbury, South Australia and be the same great tasting product that all Farmers Union Iced Coffee fans have come to know and love.

Self-proclaimed No.1 Dad and Adelaide Nova radio host Dylan Lewis is backing the campaign, reminding Dads around the state that it’s a Father’s Union Iced Coffee, or it’s nothing this Fathers Day. The South Australian funny man has created a series of ‘Fathers Union Day’ advice videos for Farmers Union Iced Coffee social channels and will be featured in Nova radio ads. The campaign has launched in South Australia through PR and OOH.

Darryn Wallace, Lion Dairy & Drinks’ marketing and innovation director said Farmers Union Iced Coffee is synonymous with South Australia. “We have a proud following of local South Aussie men so what better way to honour some of them this Fathers Day, than with the limited edition Fathers Union Iced Coffee cartons.

“Fathers Union Iced Coffee is launching exclusively in South Australia, the state in which the iconic drink was created back in 1977, to show our appreciation for, and celebrate, some of our most loyal fans who make Farmers Union Iced Coffee the icon it is today.

“So come on South Australia, raise a carton for the South Australian Dads that raised us!”

Farmers Union Iced Coffee almost outsells Coca Cola 2:1 in South Australia which is one of three brands in the world to achieve this phenomenal claim to fame.
