Fairfax Media Brings On New Custom Solutions Commercial Manager

Fairfax Media’s Australian metro media division today announced the appointment of Skye Herbert to the role of custom solutions commercial manager within its growing digital ad development team.

Reporting to digital ad development director, Tereza Alexandratos, Herbert will be responsible for developing product strategies for Fairfax Media’s custom cross-platform advertising solutions, with a focus on native advertising and interactive ad formats.

On the appointment, Alexandratos said, “We are delighted that Skye has joined Fairfax. Her expertise and passion for native and interactive ad formats will ensure we continue our success with this product portfolio”.

Herbert joins Fairfax Media from Yahoo!7’s Seven West Media cross platform integration team, RED. During her three years at Yahoo!7, Herbert developed creative and strategic solutions for top tier clients across the Seven West Media asset portfolio.

Prior to Yahoo!7, Herbert worked in the custom advertising solutions team at Southern Cross Austereo. She launched her advertising career at OMD Australia.

“I am thrilled to join the Fairfax Media team. I’ll be working with a product that I truly believe can deliver amazing brand loyalty and engagement, and I’m eager to ensure native and interactive ad formats are cemented as part of clients’ long term marketing strategies,” Herbert said

Herbert’s appointment is effective immediately.
