In good news for foodies everywhere, Taste.com.au, Coles and Curtis Stone have joined forces for one hell of a Christmas party.
Taste.com.au managing director Prue Cox announced plans for the brands’ biggest festive season ever, creating a new Christmas Menu Planner that will hit the interwebs on 10 November at taste.com.au/Christmas.
“Over the Christmas period taste.com.au’s traffic and engagement increases exponentially. In the lead up to Christmas last year there were 1.1 million recipes printed, the website had 65 million page impressions, 4.9 million in-site searches and on average users spent 21 minutes on site,” Cox said.
“Our insights show that 57 per cent of taste.com.au users like to plan in advance, with 29 per cent actually starting to plan Christmas in September.”
“This year as Australian consumers turn to taste.com.au for Christmas advice and inspiration, we have some very exciting new festive initiatives in place driving more value and convenience than ever to our consumers’ shopping baskets. Curtis Stone is on board to help with Christmas planning across all of the brands platforms and we have a fantastic new Christmas Menu Planner with Coles that will provide excellent solutions and inspiration for all shoppers.”
The Christmas Menu Planner will feature over 100 curated menu plans providing inspiration to suit every type of cook with any budget while taking the stress out of planning for festive occasions. Each menu will also have recipe-to-cart functionality, so ingredients can be shopped directly online with Coles.
The November issue of taste.com.au magazine is guest edited by Curtis Stone and focuses on getting Australians ready and excited for Christmas. As part of the issue, Curtis has created an exclusive get-ahead entertaining menu.
All of his recipes feature get-ahead tips and through taste.com.au’s recipe-to-cart, users can add ingredients straight to their Coles online shopping trolley and with a couple of clicks ingredients can be delivered directly to their door. Curtis will be seen across all of taste.com.au’s platforms during November including a special zone on the website.
“I’m so excited to be guest editing taste.com.au magazine and spending time with the taste.com.au team. I love the festive season, but I’m always looking for ways to reduce stress. In November I click into Christmas mode – the tree, pressies, parties, carols, making it special for my two little boys and the food – the food! That’s when I get my hands dirty,” Stone said.
