Marlborough New Zealand wine brand Stoneleigh has launched Stoneleigh Metro, an experiential pop-up bar.
Opening in Sydney and Melbourne in October, the Stoneleigh Metro celebrates the best of Stoneleigh in a beautifully designed urban oasis.
In collaboration with the projects and Edelman Public Relations, Stoneleigh Metro will showcase the Stoneleigh wine varietals, offer a range of unique Cellar Door Experiences including matching canapés and give Australians an opportunity to appreciate the wonders of nature surrounding them.
“Our Stoneleigh Quay Bar was a great success last summer, and we have evolved this concept to create Stoneleigh Metro, a highly visual and immersive experience for Australian consumers to enjoy a unique Stoneleigh cellar door experience in a beautifully designed space,” said Anne Martin, marketing director of Pernod Ricard Australia.
“Stoneleigh has a strong connection with nature, from the sunstones heating our vineyards to our brand ethos. Our goal was to create a venue for Australians to feel a connection with nature and really experience what is intrinsic to Stoneleigh,” she continued.
A wonder of nature in Marlborough New Zealand creates Stoneleigh wines. Sunstones in the vineyard retain the heat from the sun and spend their nights warming the vines to create the wine’s distinctive,
vibrant flavours. This inspired Stoneleigh to create Stoneleigh Metro, bringing a wonder of nature into the heart of Sydney and Melbourne.
Designed by Australian stylist and style director at Large of Belle Magazine, Steve Cordony, Stoneleigh Metro’s theme ‘Wonder of Nature’ is bought to life with lush flora, hanging gardens and the iconic Stoneleigh sunstones.
Stoneleigh also commissioned celebrated floral sculptor and artist, Tracey Deep in Sydney, and renowned florist Katie Marx in Melbourne, to create original suspended gardens that capture the luscious surroundings of the Marlborough region.
