Experiential Agency Kreate Gets Bought Out By Staffers

Experiential marketing agency, Kreate Australia, has been purchased by three of the agency’s existing management team from its UK founder, Steve Evans.

Managing director, Dylan Reed (mieddle of photo) together with Richard Jones (left) and Claire Dublin (right) have purchased the agency with the focus on an expanded offering beyond its existing expertise in activations and promotional staffing by continuing to grow the agency’s integrated communications offering.

Under the new ownership, a revised structure will be implemented which will see Dylan Reed taking the role of CEO, Richard Jones as chief operating officer and Claire Dublin as chief financial officer. Evans will retain an interest in the business and take up the position of chairman.

According to new CEO, Dylan Reed, taking over ownership of the business is a natural progression of the team’s ongoing passion for the growth of the agency.

“This marks an exciting time for Kreate; as we expand our integrated communications offering alongside our proven capabilities in the experiential marketing and promotional staffing space.”

“We have seen continued growth over the last 12 months with key client and project wins including Australia’s first Curio Collection by Hilton hotel West Hotel, Bulgari, Ria Financial, Evian, H2 Melon and Val Morgan joining regular clients Optus, Play Events, IPG Media Brands and Jaguar Land Rover across activations, events and promotional staffing projects,” he said.

With a focus on expanding Kreate Australia’s burgeoning PR and Communications division, the team has recently added Melbourne iconic Sweet Studio Burch and Purchese, Ted’s Camera World and Melbourne tech start-up Roamni to its client base along with the continued management of PR activities for Hilton Fiji and DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji.

These recent wins have seen Kreate’s PR and communications team expand with the addition of a number of senior appointments including experienced PR managers’, Madeleine Blake and Christina Atherton who join well-known ex editor and writer Glenn Butler, as content director and Jenna Setford as creative director.
