Australia’s favourite dedicated copywriting conference is back
From client management and content marketing, to multicultural copywriting, health copywriting, SEO, personal branding and conquering imposter syndrome, CopyCon is overflowing with good stuff this year.
The event will also feature an exclusive Mastermind day on Friday 14 October, with the opportunity for attendees to workshop with seven top experts on topics including scaling-up, prices and packaging, websites and SEO, and effective time management.
Founder of CopyCon and The Clever Copywriting School, Kate Toon, says the event is shaping up to be the best it’s ever been in 2022, after having to be put on hold for the past three years:
“After the Zoom fatigue and working from home doldrums of 2021, the copywriting community has been crying out for opportunities to connect with real people, in real life, again. The line-up of speakers, amazing topics and money-can’t-buy collaborations that come out of CopyCon mean we have people travelling from all over Australia to attend,” says Kate.
An opportunity to connect, learn and tap into creativity
People come to CopyCon to learn about the latest trends in content marketing, brush-up on their writing skills, grow their business smarts, build their brand, and tap into their productivity and creativity, while also creating meaningful connections and collaborations. It’s also an event packed full of creative surprises, with beanbags, massages and hula hoops all due to make an appearance in 2022.
CopyCon 2022 presenter, storyteller Jonathan Crossfield, said he’s looking forward to presenting to such a creative and engaged audience:
“While any form of professional writing requires discipline, copywriting is more disciplined than most. Too often, the effortlessness of reading great copy conceals the effort of writing it. That’s why I’m eager to spend a couple of days in a room full of fellow word-nerds, character-cutters and paragraph-pedants who, like me, know how much skill, research and sheer graft can go into crafting a few ‘simple’ words.”
