One-Day Australian Conference – Empowering A New Generation Of Conscious Business Leaders
1-in-5 Australians have taken time off work in the past 12 months because they felt stressed, anxious, depressed or burnt-out and this statistic doubles for those that consider their workplace mentally unhealthy. Launching in 2020 the Conscious Work one-day conference will deepdive into unhealthy workplace issues and equip consciously minded leaders and managers with the tools necessary to re-shape Australian workplaces and maximise productivity.
Taking place Friday 27th March 2020 in Sydney’s thriving business hub, Barangaroo, Conscious Work will educate on the latest science and research around motivation, performance, behaviour change and workplace culture and demonstrate how to implement this into the workplace, reconfiguring the way we work, for the better.
Partnering with Thrive Global, leaders in the world at addressing the stress and burnout epidemic in workplaces, Conscious Work has curated an inspirational lineup of cutting edge thinkers and educators who will examine how we can better align our work lives with the meaning, mindfulness, health, happiness, purpose and productivity we all want to achieve. The lineup includes:
- Cassandra Goodman – Facilitator and Coach for Thrive Global
- John Elliott – Managing Director from Collins SBA
- Michael Ellis – Culture Strategist from Pragmatic Thinking
- Cal Newport – Author of six books including Deep Work and Digital Minimalism (appearing via video link)
- Kylie Lewis – Founder, Leadership Facilitator and Coach of Of Kin and Certified Dare to Lead (Brene Brown) facilitator
- Dominic Price – Atlassian / Not business as usual
Conscious Work will discuss and address; stress, burnout, exhaustion and disengagement and how these factors are eroding productivity and wellbeing in the workplace. Whether you’re leading a team or company, or you’re part of one, Conscious Work will positively impact the way you work.
