Brand design agency ET Collective has announced Sutherland Shire Family Services as the 2020 winner of their new pro-bono initiative, WomenKind x ET.

To celebrate 10 years in business, female-led brand agency ET Collective launched ‘WomenKind’, a pro-bono initiative designed to help Australian female entrepreneurs and/or businesses dedicated to helping women with their own brand.

Each year for the next ten years ET Collective will work with one lucky business offering them a free brand identity package tailored to their needs.

In their first year, ET Collective received many inspiring applications from women businesses doing good for people and the planet including a range of different categories from compostable bras, to environmental activists, to women’s shelters, hemp and natural products, healthy pregnancies and healthy eating etc.

ET Collective is excited to announce their first Womenkind x ET winner – Sutherland Shire Family Services, a community and not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting women, young people and families in the Sutherland Shire for over 33 years. A grassroots organisation that started out of a garage with the goal to help women who were facing domestic violence or difficult circumstances have a safe place where their children could be cared for and they could be believed, heard, and helped.

Today, the SSFS has grown to help over 5,000 women every year, offering services that support women, children and young people, providing kindness, compassion, information, referrals, advocacy and support when people are at their most vulnerable.

“Sutherland Shire Family Services is honoured to be the first WomenKind x ET partner for 2020. This is a wonderful opportunity, we hope that this partnership will support us to develop a strong brand, which reflects our purpose and values and enable us to continue on our journey of growth, strengthening the reach and impact that we have in supporting women, and their children to have a safe home, strong connections and opportunities to thrive in life.”

Ashleigh Daines, CEO, Sutherland Shire Family Services ET Collective’s Co-founders and Creative Directors Elza Avery and Tania Salvati are beyond excited to get started.

“We have been truly inspired and humbled from each and every application received, all doing such wonderful things for people and the planet. Sutherland Shire Family Services was a standout for us. Its cause and mission is as pertinent as ever and we feel we can help them make a greater difference, not only within their local community but for women and children across the country as a nationally recognised brand,” said the founders.
