Naked Communications has announced the appointment of Lucielle Vardy as head of strategy and Sebastian Revell as a senior strategist.
Vardy (pictured above, second from the left) joins Naked managing director Tim Kirby (pictured above, far left) and executive creative director Jon Burden (pictured above, far right) on the agency’s leadership team, and is tasked with leading its varied strategic offering.
She brings with her a wealth of strategic leadership experience, most recently as chief strategy officer at Emotive, and before that, as executive planning director at GPY&R.
Vardy has also held the role of strategy director at Mindshare, and has client-side experience including at Virgin Mobile.
Revell (pictured above, third from the left) joins Naked from Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney. He has also worked for Publicis, PHD, and Vizeum, as well as client-side at ITV in the UK.
Kirby said: “In Lucielle and Seb, we found two people who are restless to push for change in the way agencies can work with their clients. Their fantastically varied experience fits perfectly with how we like to think, and they are both lovely people to boot.
“We’re excited to have them join the Naked team to champion our focus on strategic communications, and believe it is a clear signal that objectively-focused strategic thinking is in demand once again.”
Commenting on her new role, Vardy said: “It’s such an exciting time to be joining Naked. The agency is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the changing demands being made on CMOs and the evolution of the industry at large.
I’m looking forward to leading some of that change for our clients with Tim and Jon.”
