East 17 Releases Slightly Strange ASMR Remix As Part Of LadBible’s ‘Relaxing Stuff’ Campaign

90s boy band East 17 has re-released ‘Stay Another Day’, but with a (somewhat disturbing) twist.

As part of LadBible’s ongoing ‘Relaxing Stuff’ campaign with Three UK, the band (san Brian Harvey) has debuted an ASMR version of the song, with a Christmas flavour.

ASMR, short for Auto Sensory Meridian Response, is a genre of video that uses ‘soothing’ audio like whispering, crinkling wrappers and tapping, to provoke a tingly sensation for listeners.

And East 17 have gone all in, whispering, crunching, crackling and scrunching their way through the three-minute remix.

For LadBible and Three, the ‘Relaxing Stuff’ campaign is all about changing attitutdes towards mobile phones.

“Young people are told regularly that their phones are bad for them. But Three believes that phones are good,” the companies said.

“Our challenge was to make this proposition real, believable and tangible.  To be convincing, we knew we had to do this with credibility.”

East 17 isn’t the first musical talent to appear on the campaign. Check out Lewis Capaldi’s attempt here.
