Jensen Matthews has announced it is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region this year, starting with Australia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.

The Dubai-based agency is planning on acquiring four small-sized PR and digital firms in Sydney, Tokyo, Seoul, and Singapore in the final two quarters of 2018 in order to diversify its solutions offering and for an easier brand integration on the targeted markets.

Loredana Matei (pictured above), executive director at Jensen Matthews, said the APAC region was in the agency’s five-year expansion plan from its launch in 2016.

“We experimented with having a local team in Hong Kong and Singapore, and the results lead us to the decision of steady expansion in 2018,” she said.

“The APAC market is diverse and competitive, and we are looking forward to serving start-ups, tech entrepreneurs, and corporations from all industries.

“We are also focused on acquiring four boutique agencies and we do invite management teams to a discussion about a potential acquisition.

“For us, it is important to blend established teams with the fresh vision of Jensen Matthews in order to keep the unique service we strive to provide.”
