Double Jump Communications today announced it has expanded its team following five major client wins, adding to its existing roster of games industry heavyweights.

New clients gained over the last three months include Bungie, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online from Square Enix, 10 Chamber Collective’s GTFO, Wargaming, and Double Jump is now the global agency of record for RIG’s social media and influencer management.

Double Jump will be providing these clients with a range of services including PR, social media, esports management, content creator and influencer engagement, and events – digital for the time being.

In Wargaming’s case, senior account director Claire Malyon will be filling the role of head of PR for APAC, in a part-time secondment covering Eileen Lorenzo’s maternity leave, whilst maintaining her current role at Double Jump. Malyon will also be heading the agency’s retainer for Wargaming in ANZ.

Double Jump general manager and Co-Founder Travis Plane, who rejoined in February, is optimistic about Double Jump’s future performance and the success of the games industry as a whole in the current environment.

“The global situation has presented many challenges but the games industry has dealt with the circumstances well, adapting quickly and identifying new opportunities,” he said.

“Whilst the core brands we work with are endemic to the games industry, there are huge opportunities for non-endemic brands to leverage the existing audiences and fan-bases within the industry. Double Jump sees these organisations as a major part of the future growth of the games industry and is providing strategic advice to help both sides seize the opportunities available.”

Joining the team at Double Jump is new account manager Felicia McEntire. McEntire has been in the ANZ video game PR scene for over 10 years working with brands including 2K, Bethesda, Wizards of the Coast, Turn Left, Square Enix, NVIDIA and SteelSeries. McEntire has a deep love of both video and tabletop games and is a member of the Dungeons & Dragons podcast, I Speak Giant.

“Felicia’s experience and love of all things games is a natural fit for Double Jump and our clients. We’re thrilled Felicia decided to join the team, particularly at a time when we have so many amazing new clients coming on board,” concluded Plane.

Double Jump’s client list already includes AMD, Elgato, Epic Games, HyperX, Nexon, Razer, and Wizards of the Coast.
