Global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has strengthened its senior leadership team with the hire of Ian Gough as General Manager and Melinda Anderson as Experience Design Director (both pictured above).
Gough joins from DigitasLBi Hong Kong, and brings over 10 years’ experience across a variety of industry sectors including Automotive, Travel and Entertainment.
Gough commented, “I am thrilled to join the Australian office at a time of rapid expansion. My goal is to leverage DigitasLBi’s unique culture and service model which makes brands stand out in a crowded marketing landscape.”
Anderson joins from Commonwealth Bank and will be responsible for driving world-class customer experiences across all digital touchpoints. She has over 15 years experience in the UK and Australia across eCommerce, automotive and banking.
Anderson added, “I’m delighted to have joined such a high calibre team. We’ve already got some significant achievements under our belts, but even still the level of ambition and energy is incredibly exciting.”
Gough and Anderson will report into Adrian Farouk, MD for DigitasLBi Australia, who said, “We are delighted to have Ian and Mel join our expanding senior leadership team. Their key focus will be to champion our global thought leadership in Australia and bring to life our vision of a data-inspired, creative-led agency.
“Their immediate remit, along with our heads of data, media, creative & technology, will be to restructure the way we work using new global processes and tools to help deliver exciting data-driven methodologies that do not currently exist in Australia.”
