Dentsu Aegis Network Appoints Victoria Gehrig As Head Of Acquisition Integration

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the appointment of Victoria Gehrig (pictured above) to the newly-created role of head of acquisition integration for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Gehrig’s new role will see her report directly to DAN’s chief executive for ANZ, Simon Ryan (pictured above), and become a member of the group’s executive leadership team.

She will be responsible for pursuing identified targets for acquisition, overseeing onboarding of acquired companies, as well as project managing the administration of mergers and acquisitions for the group.

Gehrig was previously the national general manager at Isobar Australia, where she has been a respected member for more than a decade and pivotal in driving the business’ significant growth.

During her tenure at Isobar, Gehrig gained extensive experience in both sides of the acquisition process, and was a key collaborator on the integration of the Soap Creative and WiTH Collective businesses as they joined the Isobar Group.

Ryan said the new head of acquisition integration position will play a significant role within this market as DAN continues to build capability and accelerate its growth strategy.

“With six acquisitions made in the last 18 months and five more in the immediate pipeline, effective integration is critical to our client offering,” he said.

“Victoria’s long history within the network, and her strong contribution on several network acquisitions at Isobar, made her a natural choice for this role. I congratulate Victoria and look forward to working closely on evolving and accelerating our dynamic M&A strategy.”

Commenting on her appointment, Gehrig said: “I’m thrilled to be taking this role that sits at the very forefront of our growth strategy, and eagerly await the challenges and opportunities as I lead the network through several new acquisitions this year.”

Victoria commences her new role on Wednesday 13 September.
