DDB Melbourne Announces Restructure And Appoints Kate Sterling As Group MD

DDB Group Melbourne is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Sterling to the position of group managing director. Kate returns to DDB Melbourne from creative agency PENSO where she held the position of managing director.

DDB Group Australia, CEO, Andrew Little commented, “As part of our commitment to the growth and evolution of our business, we have undertaken a recent management restructure and Kate will succeed Dave Brown as Group MD.

“Dave this week has left the business and we would like to thank him for his dedication and commitment during his tenure and wish him well with his future ventures.

“We are delighted Kate is returning to DDB Melbourne. She has proven herself an outstanding, driven and entrepreneurial business leader and I believe one of the best the industry has to offer. Kate is a true champion of diversity, innovation and growth.”

Sterling’s career highlights include a previous stint at DDB Melbourne where she successfully ran the ANZ business, marketing manager for Seek Australia and most recently was the managing director of the PENSO Agency.

On her recent appointment, Sterling commented, “I’m thrilled to be returning to DDB Melbourne as Group MD. As a set of strong, individual businesses there’s an enormous amount of capability, experience and value we can offer to both our existing and future clients.

“I look forward to leading the team and ensuring we’re strategically positioned for strong growth over the coming months.”
