David Kennedy-Cosgrove has joined The Wired Agency as an investor and Managing Partner, joining Managing Partner and Founder Angela Hampton and second Managing Partner Michelle Hampton.
Kennedy-Cosgrove has previously worked at Fallon, Havas London and BBDO’s AMV Weapon7, and at the BBC. His Australian experience includes work with ING, Fitness First, Microsoft and Coke.
In a statement, he said, “I started working with these brilliant ladies a year ago, just as the world began to stall. As the unimaginable unfolded, we used our creativity and purpose to help our clients thrive. This is what attracted me to invest, because today clients need and demand a different approach that only an independent like Wired offers.”
The Wired Agency, whose purpose is to “move digitally, humanly”, is now in its seventh year, having worked with clients like Pizza Hut, Chatime, Viking Cruises and TEDx.
Managing Partner and Founder Angela Hampton said that, “bringing on a new shareholder for an indie agency like ours is a big deal; very much like a marriage, only perhaps more intense given how much time you spend with workmates!”
“We’ve achieved some insanely good results for our clients over the years, and what David brings to the agency means we can become even more strategic: placing creative thinking smack bang in the centre of everything w do”.
