Bringing with her 22 years of experience, Nicky steps into the leadership role in Curing Homesickness Ltd. (CHL) at a time of expected growth.
Nicky brings with her 22 years’ experience in large commercial roles within the FMCG industry, working for organisations including Kelloggs and Unilever across Australia and the UK.
In addition to her experience within FMCG, Nicky has diversified into the entrepreneurial world of hospitality start-ups, as well as having held the role of head of corporate partnerships at Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundations.
In the new role, Nicky will lead a team that’s focused on forming strong and effective partnerships that will deliver mutually beneficial results, whilst ensuring that quality outcomes are achieved that ultimately help get kids home from hospital sooner.
Curing Homesickness Ltd. director, Nicola Stokes, said that Nicky’s role will be pivotal in supporting the achievement of CHL’s strategic plan and supporting the organisation’s growth.
“Nicky joins us at a very exciting time, as we prepare to finalise our Strategic Business Plan for the next three years, premiere a new ad film, and move forward with some promising new collaborations.
“Nicky is a wonderful addition to the CHL team, and we look forward to working together to fulfil CHL’s mission to improve pediatric health outcomes by reducing the amount of time children spend in hospital, because we believe kids don’t belong in hospital, they belong at home.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining Curing Homesickness Ltd at such a critical point in its growth journey. It’s extremely motivating to be at the forefront in the development of the shared value model, working alongside like-minded partners who believe, like us, that purpose and profit can coexist to improve health outcomes for children across Australia,” said Nicky Bowie, general manager, Curing Homesickness Ltd
