Crocmedia launches new broadcast product Super Rugby Live Radio, featuring a duo of programs covering the Melbourne Rebels and NSW Waratahs.

With the Super Rugby season up and running for 2019, fans of the Rebels and Waratahs will have a new radio outlet to get their fix.

Crocmedia’s new broadcast product, Super Rugby Live Radio and its sub-products Rebels Radio and Waratahs Radio will broadcast home matches for each team throughout the season.

Retired rugby union footballer and coach Adam Freier joins Australian sports and travel presenter Will McCloy for the first ever ‘Waratahs Radio’ broadcast this Saturday night on the Super Radio Network, with ‘Rebels Radio’ making its debut on Friday March 1 on 1377 SEN+.

Crocmedia chief executive officer and managing director Craig Hutchison said of the new venture: “We are thrilled to add Super Rugby to our radio line-up and innovate across Melbourne and NSW.

“Super Rugby is an exciting sport and fits perfectly into our whole of sport and live play-by-play agenda”.

Crocmedia will also provide live coverage of all domestic Qantas Wallabies Test
matches, commencing in 2019.

Rugby Australia chief commercial officer Cameron Murray said: “Having a partner like Crocmedia come on board for the next two years provides a huge boost to rugby coverage at both Vodafone Super Rugby and Qantas Wallabies level and offers fans more great quality content”.
