Sitecore has announced the winners of the 2015 Sitecore Experience Awards for Australia and New Zealand.
Now in its eighth year, the Sitecore Experience Awards are awarded to Sitecore customers (and their partners) whose Sitecore solution is delivering an outstanding experience for both their customers and their own organisation, whether it is for the end-user customer, marketers, and business users working in an organisation, or developers working at a Sitecore solution partner.
The Sitecore judges considered creativity in the use of Sitecore’s capabilities to deliver outstanding and transformative business results, integration with applications, and multichannel engagement.
Cricket Australia (CA) took home both the People’s Choice Award and the Overall Winner Award following the delivery of a best-in-class digital transformation program based on the Sitecore Experience Platform.
Accenture and Avanade worked closely with Cricket Australia to build the most powerful digital media business in the cricket world and a new digital home for the latest news and highlights and a series of other sub-sites to promote and develop the sport in Australia. This required a broad range of services across the entire digital supply chain including: web; mobility; cloud; social media; analytics; and video.
CSR’s Bradford Insulation division scooped the Business Transformation Award. Its new digital platform, which was designed and implemented on Sitecore in six weeks using an Agile delivery process, allows CSR Bradford to provide product information to builders, distributors , architects and specifiers and link to other brands within the organisation.
As CSR is comprised of a large number of well-known brands, this solution enables cross-selling, while also making it simpler to find product information and stockists so that builders can readily find and purchase the right products they need for a job.
The Digital Innovator Award was awarded to The Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia (RAC WA), a motoring club and mutual organisation, offering motoring services and advice, insurance, travel services, finance, driver training and exclusive member benefits.
Using Sitecore’s Experience Platform, RAC WA has implemented an industry first multichannel eCommerce solution that closes the loop in membership customer services when roadside assistance is called out to fix a punctured tyre.
Teachers Mutual Bank was awarded The ROI Award following an upgrade in December 2014. Deployed by Sitecore partner, DT, the new platform has provided the organisation with greater functionality to better service members.
The organisation’s vision was for the digital solution to be the primary touchpoint for prospective members, acting as a one-stop shop for key banking needs and to equip members with the online tools they need to self-serve. Today, the website now has capabilities including being optimised for mobile, which makes up more than 40% of its traffic, the ability to provide ATM locator services, product-specific online application forms and mobile lender locator and enquiry forms.
