Global creator company Jellysmack has announced its latest Australia and New Zealand team members as the company accelerates its growth plans in the region.

Last month, Jellysmack launched its popular creator program in Australia and New Zealand and prioritised the region as a key growth market within the $US100 billion creator economy.

The VC-backed technology start-up is building a team to raise brand awareness and sign the most influential creators to its growing roster.

The Jellysmack Creator Program leverages the company’s proprietary AI technology and first-party data to help individual video creators grow their audiences across multiple social platforms.

Once a creator joins, Jellysmack uses its suite of tech tools and a team of experts to edit, optimise, and distribute videos onto Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube on behalf of the creator, thereby establishing new revenue streams.

The creator program currently has more than 410 of the world’s most influential creators as partners, including megastars PewDiePie, MrBeast, Bailey Sarian, Patrick Starrr and Nas Daily.

Combined Jellysmack-managed content boasts a cross-platform reach of 125 million monthly unique U.S. users, or nearly 45 per cent of all Americans, making it the largest digital-first U.S. company in monthly social media viewers according to Tubular Labs.

Jellysmack has already signed 12 of Australia’s top video content creators to its creator program, including: HowToBasic, Josh Dub, How Ridiculous, Jazza, Mully, Self Sufficient Me, Tannar, Vincenzo’s Plate, Cupcake Savvy Kitchen, Pask Makes, Andy’s Fishing Wild Cook and SAMMIT.

Today, Jellysmack ANZ Country Manager, Ezechiel Ritchie, announced three key appointments to his regional creator partnership team, Swarnaa Rajalingam (main photo) and Gaia Chamchuen and Tali Sawicz joins the creator success team.

The Partnership team is devoted to identifying and signing the most influential video content creators and media companies across Australia and New Zealand.

The Success team’s goal is to help them become successful across all social media platforms. Rajalingam joins Jellysmack as a partnership manager and previously worked in social media and digital at Device Technologies.

In her free time, she is a YouTuber (Life of a Social Butterfly), a podcaster, and a content creator on Instagram and TikTok.

Rajalingam has strong skills in social media having worked across diverse industries ranging from entertainment to hospitality to medical devices, education and FMCG. She has also worked in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Her passion for social media has led her to connect with content creators across Australia, New Zealand, India, Canada, Sri Lanka, UK, Malaysia, and Europe.

She has co-hosted successful female empowerment events and workshops through Aspire to Inspire across Canada, Malaysia, and Australia.

Chamchuen is the second to join the regional Jellysmack team as Partnership Manager. She brings highly relevant skills to this role from her previous work in influencer marketing.

Chamchuen has been active in the influencer space with six years’ experience as a digital marketing specialist, influencer, social media coordinator, and international liaison officer.

She has worked with a wide range of creators, helping them bring their stories and vision to life.

Outside of work you can find her deep in gaming, participating in the creator space herself, and keeping up with all things Marvel and Lord of the Rings.

Sawicz joins the Jellysmack regional team as a creator success manager. She was previously a talent manager at one of Australia’s first digital talent agencies, Day Mgmt, where she helped talent create sponsored content.

She has also worked in market research and media sales. Sawicz is passionate about all things reality, celebrity, and social media.

Commenting on the appointments, Ritchie said: “In Swarnaa, Gaia and Tali we have brought together a unique set of skills, not only working in support of the creator economy but as passionate leaders from within it.

“The trio brings valuable experience and contacts to our new Australian and New Zealand operations as we look to rapidly grow the market here.

“We will soon announce more content creator signings as local creators look to realise their global and multi-platform appeal.”
