Crazed Monkey Attacks TV Host

Crazed Monkey Attacks TV Host

More proof our primate cousins simply can’t be trusted comes video across the B&T news desk today of a monkey attacking an unsuspecting TV host.

The video has just surfaced online and apparently occurred a couple of weeks ago on Egypt’s Al Hayat TV.

Although the video’s all in Egyptian, reports say the monkey was brought into the studio by actor Ibrahim El-Samman who was being interviewed by a journalist who went by the name of Ms Asal.

The video initially shows the seemingly well-behaved and leashed simian sitting on Ms Asal’s lap as she conducted the interview alongside co-host Hussam Haddad.

However, the beast soon tires of his media stardom and attacks Ms Asal who’s forced to flee the unnamed monkey’s biting teeth and scratchy claws.

Meanwhile, the two males do nothing but laugh, forcing a member of the floor crew to race in and subdue the crazed animal.

Thankfully, there were no reports of serious injury or rabies to any of the panellists. Check out all the action below:

This latest animal attack reminding some B&T staffers of a similar and distressing incident from our childhoods way back in 1987 when Marty The Monster had the crap beaten out of him live-to-air by a particularly aggrieved grey kangaroo called “Rags”.
