Country Road’s recent Summer Wonder campaign has received international recognition from the Berlin Fashion Film Festival in the ‘best fashion film’ category.
The campaign garnered international attention as it marked the highly anticipated return of Perth-born supermodel Gemma Ward after a six year hiatus from modelling, as well as officially debuting her baby daughter Naia.
Of the recent nominations managing director Sophie Holt said: “I love telling our brand’s story through film. The response from both our customer and the local industry has been incredible. International recognition from Berlin Fashion Film Festival is very exciting and we look forward to continuing to create beautiful films.”
When the campaign launched last year, Ward told Vogue that the campaign brought back memories of childhood, and “growing up with that sense of Australian summer being so central to your life. Your whole year is kind of in anticipation of that time.”
The jury will announce the award winners on 5th June 2015.
