Independent digital agency, Lash Creative, has been appointed to develop a new website that will serve to promote Dutch businesses in Australia and foster ties with Australian companies related to the Netherlands.

Rather than a digital announcement board, the site will function as an interactive place about latest news and relevant events organised by the consulate and affiliated companies. As such, the website also enhances networking opportunities for Dutch and Australian companies interested in doing business in or with the Netherlands.

The main emphasis will be on the nine top sectors that the Netherlands economy is known for such as Agriculture & Food, Chemical, Energy, Logistics, Creative Industry and Water Management, to name a few.

Companies can enlist their business for free on the site. The announcement of relevant events and networking opportunities via the site is also free (enlistments are upon the discretion of the consulate general).

The Consulate General in Sydney acknowledges the importance of the deployment of the new website as a part of their overall strategy to improve the trade relations between Australia and the Netherlands.

“This project puts us at the forefront of our next steps towards enhancing networking opportunities between Australian and Dutch businesses,” says Drs. Willem N. Cosijn, the Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sydney & Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
