US TV network Fox News has aired an anti-Trump ad, accusing the President of abusing his power.
The ad, which was made by conservative group Republicans for the Rule of Law (RRL), aired on Monday during Fox News’ Fox & Friends, Tucker Carlson Tonight and Sean Hannity.
Among the accusations levelled in the ad are the assertions Trump “thinks our constitutional system doesn’t apply to him”, “says he has an absolute right to do whatever he wants with law enforcement” and that he is going “after his enemies and protecting his friends”.
Since the ad aired earlier this week, RRL has already put out another ad to air on Fox News and other networks, this time addressing the issue of voting amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
This video will air nationally starting today and for the next three weeks on Fox News, Sinclair TV stations, CNN, and MSNBC. A series of nine other GOP senator-specific ads are also airing on Fox News in their respective states encouraging their senator to support the funding. https://t.co/eQZoKYaNDC

“This entire election is going to look different than ones previous,” said executive director of the group Sarah Longwell.
“Fewer people are going to go to the polls. More people are going to vote absentee.”
