Connect Agency Launches Micro Influencer Booking Agency

The Connect Agency has just announced the launch of their micro influencer booking agency, Connect Engage.

The division will represent digital content creators in the kids and family; interiors; and health and wellness spaces to drive brand engagement and reach further. Connect Engage will work alongside the public relations, creative, and talent representation arms of the agency.

With more than 12 years’ experience driving engaging PR and influencer campaigns for clients, The Connect Agency has built up an enviable database of digital content creators who help to drive an ‘always on’ engagement approach for clients. Connect Engage is available to work with other PR agencies, inhouse brand teams and businesses both big and small.

“As a PR agency we consistently achieve results for clients with influencer marketing campaigns,” said The Connect Agency’s Manager Director Megan Rose. “So, we are thrilled to now represent some of our tried and tested favourite influencers. Alongside them we will share our expertise to assist other brand managers and PR companies to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.

“Driving brand awareness and engagement in the current digital environment takes an ‘always on’ approach working across multiple platforms. Adding digital influencers to a campaign checklist brings campaigns to life, provides additional content for brand social channels, and drives messages further to a highly engaged audience.”

Rose said when it comes to sourcing multiple digital content creators for a campaign, one of the main complaints from clients is that it can be time consuming for them. “Often businesses don’t know how to identify influencers and even if they do, it’s a labourious process to then contact them. They have to put in the hours direct messaging them via Instagram or scroll through numerous irrelevant applications on some of the automated systems available.

“However, with Connect Engage, if a brand or agency are looking to secure influencers to drive brand awareness and complement their communications strategies, our agency will take on the job’s entirety offering an end-to-end booking service.”

The Connect Agency is also thrilled to announce the appointment of Jen Gyles as Brand Partnerships Manager for The Connect Talent and Engage divisions. Ms Gyles has an impressive career spanning more than two decades, working at leading publishers ACP Magazines (now Bauer) and News Corp, and most recently with the marketing division at HOTA, Home of the Arts, Gold Coast with a focus on Fundraising, Memberships and the Gallery.

“Jen is a powerhouse when it comes to building relationships, negotiating deals and creating campaigns with real value for partners,” said Ms Rose. “Her experience having worked with leading brands including Nestle, Arnotts, Masterfoods and Toyota in the traditional media landscape will be an asset to our talent and influencers.”

Formerly Connect PR, The Connect Agency is a full-service agency that offers traditional PR services including media management, event management, copywriting, social media management, talent representation, creative design and content development.

The agency’s Talent division represents a wide range of personalities including The Block’s Alisa and Lysandra Fraser; TV presenter and property expert Veronica Morgan; interiors expert Kate Lawrence; The Block’s 2018 winners Hayden and Sara Vale; leading music artist Mitch Tambo and country music star Jason Owen.
