Smith&Nasht is a new Australian media venture formed as a creative partnership between philanthropist and entrepreneur Dick Smith and filmmaker Simon Nasht. Our projects stem from true stories, and we find the best way to present them to the world through documentary, drama and transmedia experiences.We’re currently producing and developing a wide range of projects for the global market including documentaries, feature films and online games for social change. Our partners include leading producers, broadcasters, foundations and social action groups around the world.Managing director and founder Simon Nasht has 25 years’ experience as a leading international filmmaker in Australia, the UK and the US and has consistently produced high-rating and award-winning documentaries for broadcasters including the ABC, SBS, BBC, Channel 4, ITV, PBS, Discovery, National Geographic, ZDF, NHK and RAI. He has run successful production companies in London and New York and has worked as a foreign correspondent, political reporter and is a best-selling author.
