Coles has announced the appointment of Sujeet Rana as general manager, customer experience and technology.
Rana joins Coles with 17 years’ digital experience gained in the tech, Retail and construction sectors. Most recently, he spent two and half years as chief digital officer at Built Pty Ltd, with overall accountability of the digital technology strategy and implementation. Prior to this, Rana was GM, customer technology at Woolies X over several years.
Rana will commence on 29 June and will be accountable for the customer digital experience across Coles, developing customer digital experience strategy, and designing customer facing digital assets including the development of Coles Online. The role will report to CMO Lisa Ronson and will partner closely with the Ecommerce and technology teams to accelerate the Coles Online agenda.
Ronson said Sujeet’s appointment will help drive Coles’ strategy of innovating for the future, and helping customers lead healthier, happier lives.

Rana holds an MBA from AGSM and Duke University and a Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Sydney. In 2015, Sujeet was named one of the AFR’s Boss Young Executives.
