CMC Markets Renewed Partnership Puts NSW Waratahs In A ‘Position Of Power’ For 2017 Season

Ahead of the NSW Waratahs’ first game of the season this Saturday (25 February), financial services company CMC Markets is proud to announce its continued support, signing on as a major partner for the fourth consecutive year.
The ongoing partnership between CMC Markets and the NSW Waratahs continues to kick goals with both brands sharing similar attributes, including a culture of success, teamwork, heritage and strategy.
By partnering with one of Australia’s iconic sporting teams, CMC Markets has successfully engaged with hundreds of thousands of Waratahs fans and rugby union followers since 2014. At its core, the sponsorship continues to increase brand awareness by resonating with passionate sports devotees, encouraging them to take a better position with their trading and investing.
Matthew Lewis, head of CMC Markets Asia Pacific, said: “2017 marks CMC Markets’ fourth successive season with the NSW Waratahs, and we’re proud that the partnership continues to put both brands in a leading position.
“The NSW Waratah’s are a club steeped with tradition and most importantly a club with a culture of success and excellence. These core values align with those of CMC Markets and we share the vision of being leaders in our field”.
“CMC Markets looks forward to another successful year both on and off the field supporting one of Australia’s most iconic sporting teams,” added Lewis.
The CMC Markets logo will be highly visible throughout the season, featuring around the stadium and on the sleeve of flanker Michael Hooper, fullback Israel Folau, flyhalf Bernard Foley and scrumhalf Nick Phipps, as well as the rest of the match-fit team this year.
CEO of the NSW Waratahs, Andrew Hore, said: “CMC Markets is a company with an impeccable history of excellence, credibility and reliability. As such they make an ideal partner for the NSW Waratahs who are proud to be supported by such a great company.
“CMC Markets has one of the strongest pedigrees in the financial service industry and it’s this market leading position as an innovator of online trading technology and education that is the perfect fit with the values and culture of excellence at the NSW Waratahs,” added Hore.
