Clems Sydney Nabs dentsu’s Brent Kerby As New CEO

Clemenger Group has announced Brent Kerby as the new CEO of Clemenger BBDO Sydney. It follows Pete Bosilkovski’s departure from the role back in October.

Kerby joins the agency from BWM Isobar, where he held the position of managing director in Sydney and presided over a period of prolific business growth and enviable local and global creative recognition.

Throughout his career Kerby has helped transform brands and businesses in a range of industries including aviation and travel, finance, FMCG, retail and technology.

Clemenger Group CEO Les Timar said: “Brent is a new age leader who brings a strong commitment to creativity, matched with deep experience in data-led and technology-enabled campaigns.”

“He is highly respected and admired by both his colleagues and clients. His leadership and unique creative skills will drive new and innovative integrated solutions for our partners.”

“His commitment to DE&I also stands out, having developed initiatives both internally and with client organisations, including driving Australia’s first Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan for a creative agency. I am confident he will foster a modern, agile and inclusive workplace.”

Kerby said: “Clemenger BBDO had been at the pinnacle of commercial creativity for as long as I can remember, so it’s no exaggeration to say that joining the team is a dream come true. With the skills in the Sydney team and the capability in the Clemenger Group, I see opportunity everywhere; for clients, for talent, and to create iconic work that proves that creativity is always the answer, today and tomorrow.”

Kerby will join Clemenger BBDO Sydney’s strong leadership team, comprising Darren Wright, Brendan Willenberg, Lilian Sor, Jade Clark, Claire Bissett, Graham Sweet and Lewis Steele.

He will commence in his new role in February.
