Australia’s corporate and financial communication advisory firm, Citadel-MAGNUS, today announced the appointment of Catharina Boer to the position of associate director in the Sydney office.
Boer brings more than 20 years’ experience in a career that has spanned corporate communication, public affairs, government relations and reputation management.
She has provided public relations counsel and lead media and communication campaigns across multiple sectors including transport, healthcare, energy, government, consumer, technology, professional services, food and beverage, legal and not-for-profit.
Prior to joining Citadel-MAGNUS, Catharina delivered the communications and stakeholder engagement component for a leading global construction consortium who successfully tendered for Snowy Hydro 2.0 – a $6 billion Federal Government funded pumped hydro-electricity project, managed community relations for several large private and public school developments in NSW and lead external communications for Harbour City Ferries, the operators of the Sydney Ferry network.
Sydney MD, Peter Brookes, said the appointment Boer further boosts the Citadel-MAGNUS team, given her experience in leading communication campaigns, issues and crisis management and the management of corporate reputations.
He said: “Catharina has a strong track record of working across multiple sectors in Australia and internationally in both in-house and agency environments.
“She also brings extensive government relations expertise and her breadth of experience makes Catharina a valuable addition to the Citadel-MAGNUS team and adds further depth to the services we offer to our clients.
“The appointment of Catharina continues Citadel-MAGNUS’ growth trajectory as the largest and leading independent corporate and financial communication firm in Australia”.
