Fresh from an outstanding array of accolades in the US, SBS VICELAND brings Australians the exclusive premiere of hit comedy drama Atlanta. Created, co-written, and produced by lauded musician and actor Donald Glover (also known by stage name Childish Gambino).
Atlanta follows the lives of Earn Marks (played by Glover), a young Princeton dropout with a two-year-old daughter, and his rapper cousin Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles (Brian Tyree Henry). Earn becomes Alfred’s manager as they attempt to break into Atlanta’s music industry and improve their lives and that of their families.

Earlier this year, Atlanta took away two accolades at the Golden Globe Awards: Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, and Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. Donald Glover also won Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Television Awards.
Atlanta broadcasts on SBS VICELAND and will be available on SBS On Demand from Tuesday 28 February. Weekly double episodes will also screen on SBS from Thursday 2 March at 11.30pm, and single episodes on NITV from 6 April at 9pm.
