Jemena, one of Australia’s leading natural gas and electricity distributors, has announced CHE Proximity as their new lead creative agency of record for their natural gas account.
The account move takes immediate effect and followed a competitive open tender, where only four of the 19 responding agencies were invited to pitch, including the incumbent BWM Dentsu.
CHE Proximity will lead the account as lead creative agency and has been tasked with re-launching the Natural Gas category brand in the NSW market, developing the end to end customer experience and re-imagining the digital experience across both B2B and B2C.
Jemena marketing & customer communications manager Nicholas Avram said: “We were all so very impressed with CHE Proximity’s response to the pitch brief.
“Not only did they address our strategic and creative requirements, the high caliber CHE Proximity team presented a well-balanced, integrated, end to end response, also challenging the brief appropriately with evidence based insights”.
CHEP CEO Chris Howatson said: “The Jemena, Natural Gas team place a high value on creativity and ambition for work that punches above its weight.
“The pitch process was a very positive one where they shared their commercial challenges and welcomed all agencies to push the boundaries.
“It has set our relationship off to a flying and positive start and we are of course, chuffed to be their partner”.
The first integrated creative work will launch this April and will be rolled out throughout the year ahead within the New South Wales market.
