Chaser Boys Suggest Ibises Could Make The Perfect Hosts For The Struggling Today Show

Those cheeky Chaser boys have weighed in to the Today show’s ratings woes, suggesting that squabbling ibises could be a possibly option for the hosting duties.

In a spoof ad for The Chaser’s afternoon radio show on Triple M, it’s touted that a “brain dead, bin-drinking sky rat” and “a virus-plagued, long-nosed bin chicken” could possibly takeover hosting duties at the ratings-starved breakfast show.

As reported on B&T yesterday, Today’s new line-up post-Karl has struggled since debuting last month with one of Nine’s own journalists describing the show as having “precious little chemistry” between its on-air talent and suggesting the decision to turf Stefanovic was the “wrong call”.

According to yesterday’s OzTAM five city metro numbers, Seven’s Sunrise pulled 277,000, while Today could manage just 196,000.
